GM Performance LSX block, Eagle forged internals with upgraded ARP 3.5 rod bolts, custom JE pistons designed by Jim Riskovsky Jr. and coated by Swain Tech, Total Seal rings with the new 2000 series upper ring used in Top Fuel, an LS7 ZO6 cam, Cometic Phuzion head gaskets, L92 cnc ported heads 370 cfm intake 269 cfm exhaust, 75 lb injectors, two alcohol injection kits spraying 100% ethanol through 4 #15 nozzles progressively, Ram twin disk clutch with aluminum flywheel, and APS twin Turbo kit sporting twin 20 G Mitsubishi turbos that are good for a total of 1000 flywheel horsepower! With just 7 psi its made 681 RWHP 719 RWTQ. At 13 psi boost we produced 775 RWHP 893 RWTQ with A/F set below 10 to 1. We are also seeing well over 30 mpg at 55 to 60 mph and above 28 mpg at 70 mph. We will be upgrading to larger turbos to reach our goal of 1000 to 1100 RWHP.
First pass down the quarter on 7 psi boost (watch video) with a very soft launch and accidentally on the brakes with clutch foot in third and fourth gears was 1.87 60 ft 11.41 sec at 127.98 MPH. Vehicle weight 4100 plus lbs with driver.
In lower photo the plastic engine panels were painted Torid Red enhancing engine appearance dramatically.
